Motorizing Your Windows
There are many ways that you could go about making your home more tech-friendly. While introducing new appliances and electronics may be the first things that come to mind, motorizing your windows is another step towards modernizing your residence this year. When motorizing your windows, you will find that there are several unique control methods. If you prefer to reposition your window treatments through your smartphone or tablet, simply download the PowerView® App. Once you do, you will be able to access a host of interesting features. By creating specialized room scenes, you can easily dictate when and how your window fashions move throughout the day or night. This can be especially helpful if you want to sync your shades up to the sunrise or have them lower when you are away from your home.
If you already have a whole-home automation system already in place, such as Amazon Alexa or Siri®, you can also effortlessly pair it with the PowerView®. This will provide the option to automate your new Hunter Douglas window treatments via voice activation, which can come in handy throughout your entire residence. If you want even more flexibility when it comes to utilizing this system, consider adding the PowerView® Repeater, which will extend the signal so that you can carry out commands from locations that fall outside the bounds of the traditional signal. As you can see, there are many reasons to think about motorizing your windows.
Of course, we also offer a handheld remote if you want a simple way to move up to six shades with just the touch of a button. By utilizing the Pebble®, it's easy to move them as a group or independently.
